About Coastal Technical Divers

Coastal Technical Divers, the UAE's FIRST dedicated technical diving center started when two highly experienced , qualified dive educators recognized a need in the UAE for a Dive Center that could provide our students and visiting divers a facility that offers a choice of dive agency training. Coastal Technical Divers offers courses from Bubble Makers for Children to Trimix Instructor, from Open Circuit Technical Diving to mixed gas Closed Circuit Rebreather training with your choice of agencies: IANTD, PADI/DSAT, BSAC and GUE. Coastal Technical Divers also conducts exciting guided excursions and expeditions both locally and abroad. At Coastal Technical Divers all instructors are trimix divers/instructors actively involved in exploration, conservation, diver training and offer training under the banner of at least two agencies.

Ali

For the past 15 years Ali has been following his passion diving and exploring deep wrecks from Scapa Flow U.K. to the Philippines from the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Gulf to Korea, sharing this passion with all of his students. Ali was an integral part of the team that researched, located and first dived the now famous U-533 located in the Gulf of Oman sitting at 110 MSW. An accomplished diver and dive educator, Ali is currently involved in reef conservation projects ,researching, exploring and filming local historical wrecks.

Glenn

Glenn was first introduced to diving in 1972 by an uncle who operated an underwater salvage company. Since then he has logged over 7000 dives on four continents and has owned and operated dive centers in Africa, the Americas and now in the UAE. Following diver education, cave diving and deep wreck exploration are his main areas of interest.
